Festival greetings
Make an animated Bakrid card with the name of the person you are sending it to. Pick a design and a wish in English or Hindi, and share the link on WhatsApp.
Eid al-Adha Mubarak, their name!
Choose any of these in the form above. The card shows it under the name of the person you send it to.
Bakrid 2027 is expected on Monday, 17 May. It follows the lunar calendar, so the date moves every year and can differ by a day between regions.
Bakrid, or Eid al-Adha, the festival of sacrifice, honours Prophet Ibrahim’s readiness to sacrifice his son in obedience to God. It falls on the tenth day of Dhul Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic calendar, during the Hajj pilgrimage.
The day begins with Eid prayers, followed by qurbani, the sacrifice of an animal whose meat is shared among family, neighbours and the poor. “Eid al-Adha Mubarak” and “Bakrid Mubarak” are the greetings of the day.
44 to choose from: Indian festivals, national days, birthdays, anniversaries and every day of Valentine’s week. Each comes in 5 animated designs, from fireworks to confetti.
Type who the greeting is for, your own name if you want it signed, and choose one of 15 wishes in English or Hindi. Nothing is stored — the names live only in the link.
Share it on WhatsApp, through your phone’s share menu, or copy it anywhere. It opens as an animated card made for them.
